The Faculty of Sports Science and Public Health, Manado State University, stands as a higher education institution committed to producing outstanding, character-driven, innovative graduates capable of competing globally. Since its inception, FIKKM has continued to develop in academics, research, community service, and strengthening collaboration at the regional and national levels.

The long journey of this faculty has become an important part in supporting the development of Manado State University towards a modern university based on Mapalus science, technology, and culture.

Establishment and Development of the Faculty

          FIKKM UNIMA developed as part of the institutional transformation of Manado State University, formerly known as IKIP Manado. As the educational and health needs of the community evolve, this faculty exists to support human resource development in the fields of sports, physical education, and public health.

Academic Development

          Throughout its history, FIKKM UNIMA has continuously improved the quality of education through the development of study programs, enhancing faculty competencies, and providing modern learning facilities and infrastructure. Currently, FIKKM fosters various leading study programs in the fields of sports and public health, such as:

  • Sports Coaching Education
  • Sports Science
  • Public Health Science

This academic development aims to produce professional graduates who are able to answer the challenges of the world of work and the needs of society.

To become a center for education, research, and development of sports science and public health that is superior and competitive, with scientific, educational, and entrepreneurial insight based on Mapalus moral ethics and culture.
